There has been news about a young man that arrested his village deity over his inability for him and some others in his community to succeed in life. Here are some facts about the incidence:

1 The alleged deity is an ordinary ceremonial masquerade which the people use to entertain themselves on festive seasons and is not worshiped by anyone according to my findings. It goes by the name "eshi" or "ezi"(in central Igbo) which means a big. It's a common masquerade like Oriokpa, Akatakpa, etc found within the locality.
2. The Catholic Cathedral in Nsukka has a museum were it keeps and displays artifacts collected from repentant traditional worshipers and communities.
Those items are preserved and displayed there for public views. (You may take a walk to there one day to have a glimpse of the sculptures of the gods worshiped in the ancient times)
3. The police arresting the young man won't be unconnected to their efforts to prevent breakdown of law. This is because the traditional worshipers may feel that Catholic Church is waging a 'jihad' against them.
NB: Catholic Church never forces anyone to surrender his deity. All sculptures in the museum were gotten from repentant traditional worshipers who surrendered their items and charms to the church after encountering Christ.

A Carnal Mind..will not Understand Spirtual things.

My Cross with the young man is Fighting a Spiritual Battle with Physical Weapon..
You don't do that!

Many lands in Nigeria Especially in the East are involved in these diety worship and it has Plagued so many People..

Families have been Donated to these dirties by their Fore Parents! And when they don't continue the usual Sacrifices they come for them..

Things like these are Fought on Bended Knees knocking the Gates of Heaven for Divine intervention.
