obowunmi:

@ Bawss, I love hot cocoa as well. Bornvita and milo --- with Nido or peak milk (loads of it). Swiss miss is enjoyable as well but I feel like its got too much sodium.
Inked, what's up with you.

Nothin' much just brewing some tea. You? Anything new? How's life treatin' you?

@EVERYONE: I sound a blog where a blogger made some homemade tea. I'll post the link and some of the pics. Here's the link >>> http://bonzaiaphrodite.com/2009/05/home-made-tea-bags-2/

Hello Everybody!
I LOVE TO DRINK TEA A LOT.
I am working on my weight as a result
i stopped beverages for close to 2yrs now.
Ever since, drinking Tea has been alot of fun for me.
I take more of Green tea with mint, recently i stumbled
on Lipton ICED Tea,ok but too sugary.I always have
atleast 5 different types of tea in my house, take it hot or cold
with brewed lemon and Honey.
Re: The Tea Thread by obowunmi(m): 8:41pm On Apr 26, 2011
Yes --- Lipton is too sugary --- yuck!
Re: The Tea Thread by pleep(m): 2:32am On Apr 27, 2011
Ah! tea lovers why didnt i find this tread earlier! Generally, my favorites are peppermint and chamomile. Its kinda hard to understand why anyone would drink regular black tea, its so boring especially every morning . (btw whats the difference between irish/english breakfast tea and black tea?)

ps. The absolute best tea EVER is "candycane lane" by celestial. its peppermint vanillia and cinnamon, i think its only sold online around the holidays but i always just mooch it from a teacher tongue
Re: The Tea Thread by pleep(m): 2:33am On Apr 27, 2011
when i was a little kid lipton iced tea was my favorite thing ever, but then i drank it so much that now i dont like it anymore undecided lol.

Usually take green or black tea with lemon slices in the morning.
Fruit infusions in the afternoon, and something relaxing, like chamilomille, in the evening.

In all sincerity, Lipton Tea still stand outs from all of these tea types. I have had Darjeeling, Ahmad Tea, Ceylon , Just name it. But I feel there's something Unique about Lipton apart from its taste and rich colour. It is my Number 1 tea, anyday and anytime

You have just said what was on my mind, lipton tea is the best for me, can't imagine drinking something else, the flavour is just not the same with anyother tea. Can drink lipton 10times a day.

Woh!!!! Ajanlekoko and Ink-nerd, are real tea-drinkers!!!!OMG!!!! could never match-up.

Sipping Twinings Green Tea with Cranberry as I type.

Where has my post from two days ago disappeared to

Anyway me, a "herbal infusion" fan. I used to drink black tea but gave it up years ago in favour of its fruity relative grin Well not quite, cos I find some teabags are either a bit "salty" or weak.

I tend to stick to certain versions at the moment: Green Tea, White Tea, Rooibos (and even Green Rooibos). For a treat I like to try the loose leaf versions - give me a cafetiere and I'm good to go! Right now I'm enjoying Cinnamon, Orange and Rooibos by Whittards of London. Can't find any decent teas in my neighbourhood (apart from Lipton). I'm thinking of trying that Hibiscus one soon cool Would love to be able to grow Mint locally.

i suggest everybody to drink green tea, ordinary tea and coffee dehydrates you
Re: The Tea Thread by tpia5: 3:28pm On Dec 10, 2011
Tea is ok.

I drank it more as a kid than now.

I really miss using teacups, dunking the bread (was told that's a no no but still did it anyway) and having bread and butter.

Nowadays i cant touch butter or else i get like 100 pounds heavier on the spot, sugar is obviously not it, and even bread sef has to be curtailed.

Ah, i don suffer.

But in general, i'm ok with lipton though i've tried the assorted flavours sometimes out of curiousity.

Re: The Tea Thread by tpia5: 2:32am On Dec 11, 2011

Re: The Tea Thread by Nobody: 1:43pm On Dec 11, 2011
