The Federal Government has approved the reopening of all camps across the country where the National Youth Service Corps orientation exercises hold on November 10.This was made known on Thursday by the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare via his official Twitter handle.

The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, made this known in a tweet on Thursday.

He tweeted, “The Resumption of the NYSC Orientation Camp for prospective Youth Corpers has been approved and opens on November 10th 2020. Full COVID-19 Protocols will be enforced.”

The Federal Government had ordered the closure of the NYSC orientation camps nationwide over coronavirus fears on March 18.

What IMSU PCM need’s to know about the above information
Only Students who completed their clearance and registered for NYSC before the covid-19 lockdown are qualified to attend camp which will open on 10 November.
All IMSU students that registered for NYSC orientation programme which were said to be 2020 batch A stream II call members are now automatically moved to batch B Stream I A, which means there is no more batch A stream II 2020. Rather, what we have now is batch B stream IA, stream IB & stream II
All students that registered for the upcoming orientation programme should patiently wait for their call-up letters as it will be released on their dashboard soon.
For candidate who completed their clearance and did not mobilize before the lockdown can do so now as mobilization is currently ongoing at the student affairs.
All those that will mobilize now is likely to be in the Batch B stream I B and Batch b stream IB comes up immediately BI leaves camp after 21 days, counting from 10 November.
