... I didn't vote last elections, because I couldn't just vote for Atiku; that man would have sold Nigeria, he made mention of enriching his friends and privatising nnpc during how manifesto, which to some and I inclusive, sounded strange. I understood then that people who voted for buhari because Atiku wasn't a saint either, OBJ can testify to that first hand. presently, I DNT know what to think no more!

Me, I simple just abstained, both the candidates weren't an option. Other party candidates that seem to have a bit of sense, didn't even campaign in my whole state, them they only social Media. So I just slept at home dat day

No law stipulates how any government employee can be paid. Mode of payment is a policy matter that can change from time to time.

faceURfront:
ASUU is only doing FG a favour. The law says FG cannot pay university workers with IPPIS. The FG should have developed a platform to pay vasity workers if she no longer wants to use the one she has been using for years, GFMIS (I hope I got that acronym right). If FG does not want UTAS, let her develop her own new payment software that does not violate the law. Using UTAS is not by force!

The way I see it, you have two options: continue to believe what you want to believe, or go and do a fact-check.

The #EndSARS protest has come and gone.

The FG no longer needs to romance ASUU anymore to get those protesting chaps off the streets.

As far as the FG is concerned now, ASUU can go to blazes.

I only pity our ASUU members who have not registered on IPPIS.

It's going to be a very low key christmas for them because I don't see this their cat and mouse game ending anytime soon.

big bro ASUU and FG, please return our school fees and the rest of the heavy levies you took from us, let us use it to start (or even support) our businesses.

cuz we've moved on,,,,I've totally lost interest in schooling in Nigeria, to be honest...

On this issue I think the only excuse ASUU got is " education is not funded properly". That's the only excuse ASUU have and they sound like the cash won't still be emblezzed later on.
Before the just concluded election you no reason all this now the innocent life's (students) are left with no hope.

Useless thieves, what’s so special about the payment systems as long as your salaries are complete as according to the law and paid on time.
So every agency of government should come up also with their own payment systems as well.

If government give in to them it will be a big mistake, cause other agencies will use it as a yardstick and if you refuse them their own, the unions will take you to court and say they are being discriminated against cause government is treating some persons more special than others

Government don’t accept this ASUU 419 platform, if you do, others already in IPPIS will take you to court and ask to pull out from IPPIS, thereby defeating the purpose of transparency in the salaries payment that was already full of fraud in the first place
