Hours after US President, Donald Trump shared a video of a parade organized for him by Nigerians on his Twitter handle, a top American professor retorted with a racist tweet that has sparked reactions from both Americans and Nigerians.

Ebonyi Tv reports that the racist tweet was made by a Distinguished Professor of Economics from University of New York, Paul Robin Krugman, stereotyped Nigerians as fraudsters.

Paul Krugman, also a columnist for the New York Press attempted to ridicule Donald Trump by insinuating that the parade was a part of an elaborate scam known as "Nigerian prince"

Donald Trump who is in contest to return as United States President for the second term had shared a video of parade organized for him by a church in Nigeria, captioning it "a great honour" for him.
Hours after his tweet, Professor Krugman mocked Trump's tweet and said Nigerians also sent in a letter offering a million dollar in exchange to help a local prince move funds out of the country.

Checkout what the Professor of Economics said,

"The Nigerians also sent him a letter offering $1 million if he helps a local prince move funds out of the country. He's very interested."

The post labeled "racist" triggered reactions from Americans and Nigerians with majority hitting back at Krugman for making a hasty generalization of Nigerians. While most Americans chided him for being a racist, Nigerians on the other hand upheld that fraud is a global thing and also prevalent in US.

Professor, not all Nigerians are corrupt. Infact, corruption exists in America just like here. We have enablers all over the world. The money gets laundered to Switzerland and British Isles. Then, your country has a system that allows an elected president to evade taxes.

Everything we do here we learnt from them even down to corruption and scam plus hacking but the problem is we do it in excess to the extent of adding plus to it.

Up till date, the white countries scam more than us and in bigger amounts too.

People should stop using the mistake of others to generalise everyone cause it's terribly affecting our image in the outside countries.

We have good youths who work legitimately online and this was the same mistake SARS was making then.

He's not far from the truth but not of us are fraudsters rather some bad eggs amongst us ,and of course our government officials as they go out there to secure huge loans with absolutely nothing to show for it.
