*HONEY IN THE HOLY QURAN:*

More than 1400 years ago, honey is described as a source of healing in the Quran and it is also mentioned as one of the food in paradise.

The Quran has a separate Surah
called 'Nahl' (meaning 'Bee' in Arabic) on bees and honey.

In Surah Nahl it says " There are cures for humans in *Honey.*

(1) An-Nahl 16:68

وَأَوْحَىٰ رَبُّكَ إِلَى ٱلنَّحْلِ أَنِ ٱتَّخِذِى مِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا وَمِنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ وَمِمَّا يَعْرِشُونَ

And your Lord inspired to the bee, "Take for yourself among the mountains, houses, and among the trees and [in] that which they construct.

(2) An-Nahl 16:69

ثُمَّ كُلِى مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ فَٱسْلُكِى سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلًاۚ يَخْرُجُ مِنۢ بُطُونِهَا شَرَابٌ مُّخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ فِيهِ شِفَآءٌ لِّلنَّاسِۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord laid down [for you]." There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors, in which there is healing for people.

Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought.

(3) Likewise Prophet Muhammad would recommend *Honey* for Stomach aches and loved drinking *honey* melted in water also known as Honey Sherbet.

*HOW HONEY IS MADE*

Bee experts assert that to make one pound of honey it takes approximately 60,000 bees traveling to possibly 2 million flowers (around 55,000 miles) to extract enough nectar.

They are multipurpose substances that in some forms can be applied extremely to the skin and in other forms ingested ad a food or supplement.

Bee products are mother Nature's most incredible gift to our planet , packed with Vitamins minerals, and essential amino acids, bee products provide us with essential nutrition to help without fast paced lifestyles.
