For example, in Paris the tallest structure is the Eiffel Tower, from the top of the tower you have an unrestricted access to the skyline. Now imagine if there was a structure as high as Burj Khalifa in Paris, it would hinder the view from Eiffel Tower.

I was gonna write something similar. It’s just for the preservation of their culture. Europe is grossly fixated on the past as their source of pride.

Most cities and their structures in europe were constructed way before the creation of america. Top notch construction especially in milan, rome, venice, Paris, Athens etc. But i think the main reason is because there are rules restricting the contruction of skyscrappers in some of this euorpean cities in order to preserve landscape.

Maybe cos Europe became civilised, and built all their historic buildings at an era when sky scrappers were not common..... Asia on the other hand became civilised and it's countries moved from developing countries to developed Country just recently

They want to keep their Baroque Architecture. Some Cities like Frankfurt, Rotterdam and the rest have sky scrappers

Europe has a long history of great architecture, which is preserved even in the face of modern developments.

The density of existing metro spaces makes it difficult to site a major project where it will get the appropriate attention. If there is space for it, it may be too far away from the metro centers

So in their cities they introduced new architecture, since they didn't hav any culture there to preserve, they started building nd today dey to it toi increase profits from real estate. While d Europeans in Europe didn't want to follow instead chos to preserve theirs

they wanna preserve their old architecture.

Good explanation, but Paris has a business district called La Defence. It boasts some of the best skylines in western Europe. Skyscrapers are constructed there.
