If Nigeria is not a useless country with useless govt, places like Bonny should have been reserved for tourists and the government would have created avenues to get there apart from the boat. There should be a casino, polo park, several hotels etc located there. In fact, Bonny Island is Nigeria's Atlantic city.

+1

If Nigeria was not a useless country, places like Bonny and most parts of Bayelsa state will be a tourist haven.

LNG boats are not for tourists or the general public. They are used to ferry company staff.

If you have someone that works in NLNG, he/she could help you book a sit on their coy boat

If you don't have anyone in NLNG, just go to the jetty in Creek Road market, Port Harcourt and enter the scary 1hr boat ride to bonny island.

there is no difference between Bonny people and Opobo people. We have the same masquerades, celebrate the same festivals, all our beliefs and practices are the same.

bonny and Opobo are just geographical apart(  andoni is in the middle geographically), and the two kingdoms are individually established with their institutions and in their own rights. Bonny and Opobo are in two different senatorial districts in Rivers State even though they are geographically close to each other and they belong to the Ijaw clan (Ibani)

Igbo is just a common language of "communication" in Opobo and Bonny
we are culturally ibani and Language.
Opobians and Bonnians just have Igbo heritage , there are no igbo natives in Bonny and Opobo.
