I have friends who would like to visit Naija and are asking questions. I only know a few places like the National theatre in Lagos and the Olumo Rock in Abeokuta. How well can a tourist enjoy his or her stay in Nigeria and get a lot of bangs for the money? What are the other areas of interest that could attract a potential tourist in Naija? Safety is another concern.

My best advice is to get to Lagos and head to Ghana and enjoy your holidays and have everlasting fun, peace and the least value for your money.
Nigeria can never offer you any thing rather disapointment and anger, unless you want to be holed up inside a hotel without venturing out. Talking from experience.

Stick to natural areas. Areas which require maintenance will prolly seem terrible to them. You know, our no-maintenance-culture and abandonment issues. We do not specialize in tourist attractions unless within the first few years it was built/maintained for that purpose. Sad, considering the bounty we have. Humans. . .yeessh
