I watched the news yesterday and I noticed to my greatest shock that none of the rescued boys of Kankara Science school student interviewed was able to communicate in the English Language. All of them spoke in Hausa. How can an SS2 or SS3 student not be able to speak even the simplest English? Education especially in the north should really be a priority to this government and subsequent ones. Did anyone else notice this.

Alot of primary and secondary schools in the north don't give a hoot about english. It is no surprise at all. But trust quota system.. when it's time for admission or employment, they get juicy spots before anybody else |
