The Bible warns about the judgement of God, it foretells of a day on which God will bring every action,deeds and works of men into judgement.
The purpose of this eassy is to examine and establish the truth of God's word on this subject, judgement. we will look at when it will occur, how it will be carried out and the rewards of those judged.


What is Judgement ? According to the Bible, a Judgement is defined as a ruling given in favour or against a person, after examinations of the persons deeds, actions and works during their lifetime.
Ecclesiastes 3:17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work. Rev20:11-12, Isaiah 33:22,Ezekiel 18:30, Ezekiel 33:20.


2.When will it take place? Ans is on the last day, Rev 20:12,John 12:48, Roman's 2:16

Acts 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Romans 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

3. Why is there need for judgement?Ans Judgement is required to ensure that everyone is given fair trial and to ensure that everyone is rewarded according their works. It also reveals God's just nature. Matthew 7:2.
Psalms 89:14 Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.


4.What will be the standard for God's judgement? Ans is God's law.
Romans 2:12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

James 2:12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. matthew7:1-2.

5.Who will be the judge or judge the people? Ans is Christ and his saints.
Acts 17:31, Psalm 149:5,
1 Corinthians 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

6.Are People judged the day they die ? Ans is No. They rest in their graves till the day of Judgement when they are judged and rewarded according to their works.

Job 21:30 That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath. Daniel 12:2.

7. Is there a second chance after death Ans is No. After death is judgement.
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:


8.What are the things that are considered during judgement?Ans these things will be consider by God in Judgement, Wealth, privilege, grace,favour,and the knowledge of the word of God that we had and how we used this gifts to glorify God.
Luke 11:31, Matthew 12:42.

9. How thorough will the judgement be?
Ans The judgement will be very thorough all deeds and actions and words we did in open and in secrets will be brought to judgement.

Romans 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.


10. What punishment are given to the wicked?Ans is torment in Hellfire that climaxes in Death, this is called the second death. Rev21:8, Rev20:6, Mathews 22:13,
Proverbs 19:29 Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools.


11. What is the reward of the righteous?
Ans: is eternal life and the righteous will inherit the Earth.
Revelation 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.


12. Will everyone be punished equally?Ans is No but the punishment will be fair and just, everyone will be punished according to their works. Luke12:48, Matthew 16:27

13.What determines ones level of punishment?Ans, Is ones works and how much of God's gift and grace which is given to one that was not used to the glory of God.
Luke 12:47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

Matthew 11:23 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. Matthew 11:24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.


14:Can One bear another persons punishment?Ans is No.
Everyone will bear their punishment according to their works.
Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

15. After God's Judgement and punishment upon the wicked what will be the view of the inhabitants of the Universe?Ans.
The entire inhabitants of the Universe, Angel's and people will proclaim that God's judgement is just and good.

Revelation 15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
15:4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

In Conclusion.
God has set aside a day to judge the World by the man he has appointed, been Jesus Christ.
No one will be able to escape God's judgement, everyone of us will be held accountable for our actions and we will be rewarded accordingly.
