Nigerian Film and
Best Costume Design at the African movie academy
awards held days back.
Kudos to Yinka Kolapo (the movie producer) and Niji
Akanni (the director), I love yoruba movies, can't wait
to see the movie when it comes out.
Story line (synopsis)
In this fictitious but myth-like tale set in the
tradition-bound Yorubaland of 1909, a wealthy
female trader, Aramotu (Idiat Sobande), tries to
employ the social-engineering aspects of the Gelede
Cult to realize her progressive ideas about the rights
of women and the need for people-oriented
