All my life, I use to think of the possibility of constructing a house in a day. I never see the possibility with all the local building materials I could think of. Not until 2016, when I stumbled upon a 2 bedroom - 1 bath apartment built in 24 hours by 10 unskilled labourers at the cost $3,046 (less than 1.5 million naira). It was witnessed by the ministers of works and higher education of Malaysia and this project entered into the country book of record as the "fastest house constructed in 24 hours".

�� How is this possible?
�� With what building materials?

I was not only amazed at the speed of construction but by the unskilled labourers and the cost of building. I realized this is possible because of the building material used which is *INTERLOCKING RED BRICKS* stacked together just like child's puzzle game rather than laying.

But why is INTERLOCKING RED BRICKS not widely in use for construction in Nigeria since the material (laterite) is readily available everywhere and anywhere.
