I'm not too sure about that. In my opinion, there's usually a sense of confusion when all 4 of them play. They can't identify their roles and there's a lot of loose passes. I've seen this happen a lot.

I might be wrong though. Maybe they just need more play time to adjust but I'd like to see one of them on the bench for competition tbh.

Mane, today, had to play centrally because we had only 2 attackers in the diamond shape which has saved our lives. Mane lost the ball so many times and he wasn't playing with common football sense at all. Small surround wey opponent surround am e don lose ball. This is where competition would be of benefit to put Mane on his toes.

The sheer presence of Jota against both high and low block teams would break the defence doesn't matter if it's all 4 of them BUT he/they must have technical players alongside him/them in Thiago, Keita or Shaq else even Jota will look bad out there.

The reason why I disagree with playing all 4 of them is because there's usually a sense of confusion when all 4 of them play together so why not just play 3 and put the underperforming player on the bench which would be Mane from that awful performance today. Competition in that front 3 is necessary.

I have a theory. Because of our recent poor run of games, most teams have suddenly begun playing high line against us. We have suddenly become "underdogs" again lol.
Today, having Henderson, Fabinho or Virgil whipping mad long balls to the flanks would have absolutely torn Sheffield's defence apart with the defensive line they played today.
