na you dey do Islam! they don't even broadcast In the Middle east.

Not all middle eastern countries are over the head with Sharia law in respect to hijab.

Before the 90s and the coming of the shariah madness, most NTA female broadcasters were not putting all these hijabs and wild scarfs.. Maybe some mild scarfs to suit their attire.. I remember some female muslim broadcasters then, who came on TV wearing less..
But after the long rule by northern army officers all through the 80s, the whole thing started changing, until we got to where we are today! These days, it's as if there is a campaign/competition going on to portray all sorts of religious and tribal loyalties through the dress codes of the broadcasters at the NTA.. Meanwhile other Muslim countries are vigorously liberalizing...
