well in terms of performance, compaq lags behind most of the HP configurations, look at it this way, Honda and Acura are two quality cars right,however Acura is the luxury division of honda. Both models are made by the same company.

the problem i have with hp systems is their screen resolution and it has caused me problems in times so i had to switch to a compaq presario.imean if i can get a system with that price why not.

tell me what is your opinion about brand: dell, hp, compaq , toshiba, acer etc. Alot of people seem to make their preference based on some glitch they had with a brand at a certain thing and subsequently develop an avoidance tendency
