Namibian has the best road network in Africa because the President of the country comes to personally inspect the highways and motivate the workers constructing the roads.

Namibia has great infrastructure but the unemployment rate there isn't a joke. It's the highest in the world. Nigeria comes second after it.

True, not sure why they unemployment rate is so high. Could it be most of the Namibians don't like to pursue higher education.

They have world class road network, 24 hour electricity and a quality university. And the country is relatively safe,you can travel across the country without encountering any road blacks from police,customs or army officials and don't have to worry about encountering herdsmens,armed robbers or kidnappers.

There has been significant foreign investment in the country since it gained independence from South Africa in 1990.

Quite pointless because anyone who can afford that and decides to live in Namibia must hold a passport of developed country. Nevertheless, it's a good place to retire and run the business from there/receive pensions/dividends.

This is what I mean: as a black person especially someone who grew up in a black dominated environment but later relocated for greener pastures, Namibia is a good place to retire to. Now, a black person from my definition who has $100K to buy her citizenship certainly is a citizen of a developed country. How many Nigerians migrate to Namibia for greener pastures compared to the UK or Canada? But will all of those who moved to either the UK or Canada retire there? No. Namibia is that option for them but it's pointless for these people (who already hold a British or Canadian passport) to purchase that of Namibia's.

Nothing concerns me with German descendants, most if not all aren't black people.

Inequality in ownership of resources has been around from time immemorial. Even in western countries the richest 1% own majority of the economic means of production. I think the issue lies with possibly the literacy rates and the average Namibian not possesing the required skills needed to work in the banking,diamonds and healthcare industry.

And that is the effect of apartheid, the blacks were not trained to take over leadership of the economy. I believe that will change with the younger generation.

There's a difference between inequality among well-off people in the West (the rich and the super rich - 99% Vs 1%), and inequality between the rich and poor (as you find in Namibia, SA or Brazil).

Namibia and SA have some of the highest literacy rates on the continent, with poor results though (ironically), and the structure of the economies limits growth, they are mostly monopolised. Think of the fact that SA has only 5 major banks (compare with Nigeria) and new entrants are quickly swallowed up or eliminated. At the same time they don't expand at a fast enough rate to match population growth. This is replicated throughout many industries of the economy.

In Nigeria you've probably noticed the stranglehold of SA companies like MTN and DSTV, very hostile to competition. So no amount of re-skilling will work to address high unemployment until these monopolies are broken down and black new entrants given space to flourish, but there's little political will.

I really can't claim expertise on this subject dude, but whatever is going on here needs Oxford and Harvard graduates for analysis.

Fine, there are African countries like Namibia, Botswana, Zambia etc one can invest and live peacefully. But in those same countries, their populations are very low, a huge percentage do not really like Nigerians and in fact have stiffer visa rules for Nigerians (Namibia & Botswana) mainly because of nefarious activities committed by Olodo Nigerians who went there. Although, an investor will be treated differently because of money (which is normal). However, same countries I mentioned have high youth unemployment and somewhat moronic government officials. Youth unemployment rates in Namibia and Botswana are almost 50%, literally no difference from Nigeria and Ghana. Check LinkedIn (a rough measure to ascertain job opportunities in a country/industry), jobs posted in Namibia and Botswana are dated many weeks ago, no work at all. Yes, they are peaceful but populations are low (unless you will provide what the general populace want or export - which I will recommend).

On the aspect of being m0ronic, nothing stops Namibian and Botswana authorities from introducing a similar immigration like Canada or the UK targeted at blacks across the world where they invite black entrepreneurs with a minimum of $50K to invest and offer PRs and citizenship in say five years. This will create jobs and taxes for both citizens and governments. Singapore (offers PRs/citizenship for investors who invest at least S$2.5M), Japan (investor's visa for at least ¥5M, possible PR within a year or two and citizenship in max 4 years), UAE (many Indians are enjoying PRs because they invested in the country. Surprisingly, no Nigerian is a PR based on investing in the UAE. So much for being enterprising people), Germany (€350K and you get the investor's visa and a clear path to PR/citizenship) etc., do same so it is odd that somewhat two peaceful and seemingly functioning black dominated countries are not implementing such. At least, this is aimed at fellow blacks. Afterwards, create similar scheme for black immigrants after to come and live in both countries. Within the next twenty years, those countries will be transformed by fellow blacks.

Foreign investors will pull out and it will bring negative public relations to both countries worldwide. Before a country decides to implement a major economic decision they have to do a cost/benefit analysis. Zimbabwe tried to do the same under the late Mugabe and look how the country turned out.

How do forcefully acquire companies or shares from fellow Namibians or Botswanans that are white and their generations have been around for over a 100 years and distribute it to the black population. The white population second or third generation acquired the wealth through crooked or legitimate ways decades ago. There is no fair and equitable way to go about this when you punish the children for what their parents or grandparents did.

Namibia is densely populated as well. They have good schools and Windhoek the capital is very beautiful albeit laid-back.
