any body in the house that has an idea of manually configuring gprs settings on the desire hd, should pls help, been to the mtn office and they have no clue on how to go about it, they gave their settings and still did not work, any idea about the mcc nos and the mnc nos will be welcome, of cos settings on the mms will be the icing on the cake. thanks in advance.

Hi, I am posing via a HTC HD7 and I think the procedure might be d same.
Under "settings" select "cellular" and scroll to the bottom and click on the "edit apn" button and fill out the field with the settings you got from mtn. If you have already activated ur data plan then you should be able to browse the moment you browse away from that page.

hi, how do i configure settings for mtn manually on my htc legend. ive tried including all the settings from mtn site APN, IP etc but it still isnt browsing. pls help out,
there are fields like port,server,mms proxy, mms port, mms protocol, MMC, MNC, APN type that i dont know what to put in there.

leave the other options blank, save and exit.
you may need to switch off n on our fone and also ensure u have subscribed to a data plan

I think ie d MTN GPRS settings isn't going , d problem wil be dat of d HTC.

i use an htc dash3G phone but i cant browse with my mtn sim. Need help.

2. Then go to ‘Wireless & networks’.
3. Continue go to ‘Mobile Networks’.
4. Then ‘Access Point Names’
5. Click the Menu button’
6. Then select ‘New APN’
7. Key in the detail that you find below.
8. Then press the radio button to select it.
9. That’s all.

Note – Be* sure ‘Data enabled ~ Enable data access over Mobile network’ is checked to enable Internet access
