The Nigerian Police IG must as a security urgency and necessity, bring back police checkpoints, members of other paramilitary or military units can be with them as back up force. The most professional of their set must be selected, their job is to look for weapons and the bad guys, they should not harass legitimate citizens. There need to be heavy security presence on our roads. Now is the time to use the Nation's revenue as economically as never before. Governors, local government chairman, Ministers and appointed chairmen of commissions. Wake up, do not let greed make you sacrifice the well being of your people, this is an existential threat, we need to push these foreign invaders back. This is the time for patriotism, for this is the country we call ours, terrorists do not know anyone, they are fighting their own cause, but we all collectively have an interest of surviving and thriving in this geographical space.
Only patriots.

Seconded but the roadblocks need to be well-defended too. Killing officers in roadblocks have been their modus operandi

If there should be roadblock let it be all over the country and not a section of the country so relax bcoz is not all about what you are seeing! The law should include everyone Fulanis inclusive...road block that will block others but when the Fulanis get there it will be opened? You don't know the ground plan..you think is by being sectional patriotic? You are patriotic when other isn't patriotic will it work

How many road blocks do you see in the US, Canada and Europe? You have to be strategic in your approach, drones, satellite images, local informants, body cams is what is obtainable in this age.
Return road blocks and increase police brutality.

Do you know the meaning of Esprit de Corp? If you do and have listened to the statements of T. Y Danjuma and Governor Ortom of Benue, you will know that the problem cannot be resolved by policing alone.

Those security formations have been infiltrated by boko haram, fulani herdsmen and bandits, that's why we are on rampage. If we don't protect our region, no one else will. Kapish?

No mind the fools, our problem is peculiar, we are facing the sahel, a haven of Islamic jihadists, stop comparing us to US and Canada, they have no internal terrorists problem. Too many grown babies and educated fools in this country.

Stop talking nonsense because you are IPOB, stay objective or your people and region will bear the brunt. Most of those cheering on the violence in the East, are probably not living there. Self centered idiots.
