According to tradition, and evident from indirect information, the Fathers of the Monastery requested the protection of Mohammed himself, who saw the Christians as brothers in faith. Apparently, the request was favorably accepted and the so called ahtiname, or "immunity covenant" by Mohammed instructed his followers to protect the monks of the Sinai. Though this document has been a matter of controversy, it is doubtful that the monastery could have survived without the protection afforded by Mohammed and his successors.

Who said we love Moses? We love Jesus because He first loved us. We love him by obeying His commandments as for this Mohammed, we cannot love him becuase he did not die for us.


1Pe 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

@Wetu; your opinion of Moses is opposite of what Jesus did and commanded you to do, if you are a true follower of Jesus of the Bible.


@Experts; the way the alphabets of the letter are, being so advanced from the alphabets at the time of Muhammad [as] in arabia, the lack of the seal from his ring [signet that appears in all his other letters], unless there are other factors in place, i have my reservations. But God Knows the Absolute Truth about the letter.

The good news however is that christians themselves are telling their brothers and sisters in christianity that Muhammad [as] was a prophet of mercy, respecting other people's religions, lives and honors.

Show me where in the Bible Jesus told us to love dead people in general or to love Moses in particular?

Not only did Jesus fulfill the law, he also nailed it to the cross. hallelujah!
He did it not out of love for Moses but out of obedience to God.

The "knowledge" that you have cannot save you, only Jesus can. He lived, He died, He rose again.
