The mist is gone,
The day has broken,
The luminaries refuse to shine,
The morning used to be bright, but the sun has drifted.

O! It drives all joy away,
I should have kept the joy, praises and Hope's in a bag,
Things would have been normal.

The rope has been cut,
The moon light has also drifted,
It use to be smiling back at the luminaries, but it is the luminaries drifting away,
O! I should have remained quiet, who did I think I am or was?

Things can not be amended,so sad,
Can,the range of the sun ever be quenched?
Can a broken glass cup be fixed?
O! I wish I knew this would happen.

We were jolly friends,
But now we are the morning and night,
We were like the moon and star,
But now we hardly even say "hi".

Has it come to an end?
Can all I wrote be forgotten?
Can we forget does words we exchanged?

Gory tale of many people's reality.

I just wonder why the title is just regret and not Pride & Regret

My only worry after this is, what was going through your mind when you had thus inspiration. Cause only a deepened state of reasoning can usher one to these realms of poetic artistry

I think this thread should be on front page mods so people who have shattered relationships would come out to tell us a thing or two, how pride full they were at the time and how it led to ruining a good relationship and how they are fairing in the aftermath of such relationship
