We all know its above 50% youth unemployment rate in Nigeria. In Spain, it's about 40% youth unemployment rate, a country whose economy is.highly dependent on tourism and hospitality, a business among the worst hit by Covid 19.

It's not what you studied, there are Nigerian youths earning N500k everyday, there are others who have never seen N100k since they graduated.

Imagine spending 4/5 years studying any of those courses, wait for your clearance for a year, do NYSC for another one year. Start all over again to task your friends and relatives for money to secure farm land and resources which will definitely be higher than the amount you spent schooling. You invest more money on training and retraining to be able to manage your farm. Afte all said and done your crops start growing after applying very costly manures and fertilisers. You wake up one morning to discover that cows have eaten them up?

Maybe you're safe from cows because cows doesn't eat all kinds of agricultural products or maybe your area is safe, but thieves, government taskforce, area boys, inflation etc make a mess of your efforts.

Maybe you scare through those huddles, cost of transporting your end products, competition from imported alternatives etc will kill your little moral. Imagine how much a cup of well processed imported rice is compared to local, unrefined rice? Cost of production coupled with scale of production is not a joke.
