How Do You Ensure Drivers Maintain Their Vehicles by sammieguze(m): 8:24am On Jul 03, 2021 |
As an administrative person managing a pool of cars, sometimes, you could be lucky to have good drivers who would take care of the company vehicles as tho it's their own personal vehicles. At other times some drivers could be lackadaisical in their management of the companies pool vehicles leading to frequent faults and repairs. in as much as the carrot and stick method would be a good suggestion, I believe the essence of getting paid salaries and other allowances is so that one could do his/her jobs in the first place which I believe includes basic maintenance of company properties put in your care (cars inclusive) hence I believe the proper thing would be for the company to reward exceptional behaviors. Therefore, this poses the question of how the company punishes the lackadaisical and the I don't care attitudes of some of those drivers since the company doesn't want to relieve them of their jobs neither does it want to take out of their salary as punishment considering they don't earn much in the first place? |
