Program Summary
CRG Empowerment Program Ltd/Gte (CEP Ltd/Gte) was established to promote community development projects in Nigeria. The primary objective of the program is to effect positive changes at the community level through economic and capacity-building activities in order to motivate unemployed/self-employed youth, women, youth groups and women associations towards self-reliance, independence and self-sufficiency.

The CRG Empowerment Program Ltd/Gte (CEP Ltd/Gte), is seeking grant applications from qualified, locally registered development organizations, including non-governmental and community-based organizations, for the implementation of grants toward Technology in Agriculture projects. The grants will be awarded and implemented in accordance with CEP Ltd/Gte’s internal grant management policies.

Application Requirements/Award Eligibility: Potential applicants are expected to use innovative and participatory approaches to achieve the objective of the program. Potential applicants must propose activities to be carried out in Kaduna or Kano States of Nigeria. Applications should detail the targets and results that the proposed grant activity shall fulfill. In addition, applicants must include the following information in their applications:

• Description of the proposed target group(s), detailing why they were selected; and how gender, age, urban/rural and regional differences will be affected and addressed;
• Detailed methodology for identifying the capacity development needs of the target individuals/groups;
• Detailed action plan/implementation schedule for delivering the capacity development support to the target individuals/groups

The duration for each activity can be determined on an individual basis; however, all activities should be completed within a 12-month period Awards would be made to applicants whose applications are most relevant to the program objectives and meet the specified criteria.
