But BBC panorama program aired the corruption program few days b4 the result, u did not see that?

I saw the panorama stuff! we are talking about the English media that nothing good to say or show or print about South Africa since 2005, putting pressure on Sepp Blatter to move it back to Europe knowing that England would be ready if theirs a late replacement like in 1986! everytime in the paper you see the crime is too high, loads of cases of rape, health and electricity issues. and during the shooting in Congo at the Togolese players, the English media raised their ugly heads again that the tickets sales were down and Sepp Blatter blamed the English media for demonising the Tournament.

Am sorry but England getting the right to host Euro 96 was filled with bribery and corruption and also back stabbing Germany along the way,

England bought gifts for alot of delegates is it because they didnt pay into peoples account! England played to play in Thailand this summer as part of the agreement to vote for England and Beckham has to be playing, am sorry they are as bad as each other,

full story: Bribery scandal in FIFA

The head of England's failed bid to host the 2018 World Cup has alleged that four foreign football chiefs asked for favours in exchange for votes for the football tournament - including one who wanted a knighthood.
Lord Triesman made the astonishing claims about the FIFA executive members in the House of Commons today.
He claimed FIFA vice-president Jack Warner asked for money - suggested to be £2.5million - to build an education centre in Trinidad with the cash to be channelled through him, and later £500,000 to buy Haiti's World Cup TV rights for the earthquake-hit nation, also to go through Warner

He has evidence, the newpapers have evidences, he did not raise the issue then cos it will backfired on their bidding effort. BBC and other newspaper did and it totally killed their bid cos those they exposed were the same pple who will vote for England.

Simple the british are sore losers, they wanna win everything and if they dont win they say the world is against them. i read yesterday when Lord treidsman said the fifa delegations were asking for bribes, Give me a freaking break. anyways fifa have asked the english fa for the files and we shall see what happens, dont get me wrong, im not saying the fifa delegates are not money hungry fools. but the english fa are getting what the phucking deserve and if i have my chance i will make sure those pink looking bastards never host any international games again

And what evidence would that be? That Jack Warner asked them to build a soccer school well he should make sure he recorded it!

or someone asking for a knighthood

The evidence the press have were for those 2 FIFA has already suspended!!!

But each time England has asked a member to vote, they have offered something for votes,

Look people who live in glass houses do not throw stones!!!

he did not raise the issue then cos it will backfired on their bidding effort

Would he have raise the issue if they won the bid?

Bullshit, they are all birds of the same feathers. The accusers are not left out. They are all trying to bribe their way through and since the highest and sincere briber won the losers now felt the only way to seek redress is to let the cat out of the bag. They are all corrupt not excluding blatter himself.
Hypocrites.

I always knew FIFA were liars from the day they awarded the FIFA Balon D'or to Messi instead of Xavi.

Now, we need more private eyes in the UEFA committee, looks like they've been bought by Barcelona.

The English are sore losers.
They think they are better than everyone else, where as they are only mediocres.
They should let FIFA be!!!.
Football will not be brought to its knees just because England lost the host right for 2018 FIFA World Cup.
After all the word "corruption" is English.
If they were not corrupt, they would not have it in their vocabulary.
This their holier than thou attitude must stop.
If they had won the bid, would they have cried foul?

England should shut up. They may invent the leather game, they may even try to prove a point by naming their football body FA, the truth is when it come to world football, there is no bending the rules, they lost the bid, and that is it. US did not even make it to voting, and there is no shout of bribe from their end. They are even threatening to quit FIFA, as if anyone cares.  They may have an exciting league in the world, truth is, any country can model its own league like theirs. When it comes to hosting of world cup, it involves money, and Qatar is in financial buoyant to do that, England has financial problem right now, which everybody knows, no wonder they are part of the coalition stealing oil from Libya under the pretext of humanitarian, and hosting the world cup is an avenue to get their economy back on ground, that does not mean they should engage in character assassinations, because we all know what they are accusing Hayatou of had been going on for a long time, they are as guilty as those they are accusing. Come 2018 and 2022 God willing, world cup will be hosted by Russia and Qatar, no matter whose ox is gored.

Some of u can't stop writing nonsense, England has the facilities to host world cup 2moro, can you name how many world class football stadium QATAR has? You are going on abt England being broke, England will be hosting Olympic next yr which is even more expensive compared to hosting world cup and they just finished building one of the best Olympic stadium in London. England lost the hosting right to Russia cos they refused to bribe those criminals who asked for bribe. British newspapers and BBC raised the issue of corruption in FIFA weeks b4 the winner was announced and many FIFA officials were suspended and after investigation by FIFA those officials were banned, as a Nigerian u should know that our own FIFA representative were involved.

Didnt know you are from Queen's country, no wonder your opinion here is perfect. Simply because they can host world cup tomorrow, is that a criteria for them to win the bid? Just like you said, they are hosting olympic, na only them dey in this world? It is only fair that they should let other country host other events especially when such country has the money to host it. What we are saying is that, bribing in fifa and indeed hosting rights proceedings has always been like this, and had never been transparent, which they had also been taking part in it, how come it is when they lost the bid they were crying foul.

They raised that issue b4 the winner was annouced, BBC Panorama program exposed the corruption in FIFA days b4 the result was announced, Sunday Times newspaper exposed FIFA officials selling their votes months b4 the winner was announced, so u can't accuse the British officials of crying foul.

FIFA officials refused to vote for the UK cos they were exposed and was not given the bribe they requested.

Look the World cup is not tomorrow, about their stadiums, majority of them needs to be refurbished, about the olympics, they won the bid by lying about the cost and thats why the council tax of the Londoners went up, Ken Livingston extending the congestion zone to the west of London to raise more fund! transportation in England is the most exensive in Europe, accomodation the same, the hospitals cant cope as it and they havent finished paying off the loan to build wembley stadium! The Brits accusing someone of been corrupt is kind of petty coming a country that rigged the 1966 world cup fixtures,

The BBC are reporting that Boris Johnson has withdrawn an offer of a free stay at the Dorchester Hotel for FIFA executives during the 2012 Olympics.

The free rooms were handed out by Locog, the Olympic organising committee. Boris discussed the issue with Sebastion Coe who is the chairman of Locog as well as being a member of the Board for the England 2018 bid. Sebastian resigned as chairman of FIFA’s ethics commission to take his place on the bid’s board.

I doubt the offer would have been withdrawn if the England bid was successful so is this tantamount to a bribe? This would be hypocritical after the Sunday Times and BBC investigations into corruption in FIFA. The Sunday Times investigation led to the suspension of two FIFA executive committee members.

Why didnt Lord Trisman mention this before the voting

Which stadium need refurbishing? Out of 20 premier league stadiums which one do u think that need refurbishing? Who told u that they lied about the cost of cost of hosting Olympic? You are just jumping from one OFF point to another, from council tax to congestion zone to transport cost, u are just confused

IF you dont know the bidding process for the Olympic then I rather you not say anything! Tell me what was the budget when they submitted the bid?

regarding the stadiums only the Emirate, Stadium of Light and Reebok stadium are new stadiums, Old Trafford is an old stadium been extended, the rest have an average construction age of 70 years, 2006 World cup Germany build 5 new stadiums refurbished the other 5  stadiums,

You cant just use a stadium they use week in week out!

I guess u enjoy writing rubbish, the UK won the right to host Olympic on July 6  2005, years b4 the credit crunch then recesson which increased the budget above the original estimate.

You counted 3 stadium and your empty brain 4got wembley that will be hosting champion league final in couple of weeks?  Was Stamford bridge  not refurbished by Roman Abramovich?  How about Manchester City ground that was refurbished by the new owner?

London put forward a budget of £2.4bn lesser than what Paris put forward for the 2012 Olympics when Athens Olympics spent over £6bn in 2004, and Beijing 2008 put aside £21bn, within one year they realised that they bunged up the figures! £250m for a 80000 seater stadium in London! sounds looney,  "little info is very dangerous"

Dumbo!!!!! only one city is allowed to have 2 stadiums when hosting a world cup (that's London Wembley and the Emirate) and England were planning to host games in 12 cites! so name 11 cites with 11 modern stadiums?
