can you explain the mode of UI's post UTME to me?I learnt that UI does not conduct written test like other universities.Also,I will like to know the cut-off mark for linguistics,mass communcation or communication art for last year.Any other useful hint or information willbe appreciated

I think the cut off for elect elect last was 74. Your Jamb score / 10 and Your O'level result as A1 - 6, B2-5, B3-4, C4-3, C5-2, C6-1. Let say u have 280 in ur jamb and 5 B2s in ur compulsory o'level subjects. It'll be 280/10 = 28 and 5 B2s will be 5*5=25 and 25*2=50 so 50+28 = 78.

One of my class mates chose UI as 2nd choice Pharmacy with Eng C5 mathB2 chemB2 bioB3 phyB3. Would he be considered, besides, do UI admit 2nd chose candidates? Also, pls help post d various cut off marks. Thanks

@steveboy ur classmate has good to chance, his o'level score is 40, he should score 200 and above and he'll be shortlist for interactive section.
@telz no post utme in UI, it's called Interactive section, you'll be shortlist only if you score up to the cut off. Cut-off marks varies every year.

UI prospectives how was yur ume?nobody can guarantee yu admission into UI, only yu yourself and yur God.

Steve boy@ui do pick 2nd choice but very few either 1 or 2,dont forget they still hv remedial students to admit.so its advice able to choose them as 1st choose because of the competition.

Can som1 wit 2nd clas lower (GP: 3.25) in microbiology aply tru direct entry to study medicine in UI.

Before the end of next week,i will upload the necessary cutoff marks of the last three years of all departments.
