Save your self this physics, abductors dont attack from 60meters unless they want to give their targets opportunity to escape...no be everything dey inside text book.
Jakumo:

Fired from any distance beyond 50 meters, the pellets of a shotgun blast will have lost most of their kinetic energy, and will not penetrate even the thin sheet metal of a vehicle.

Looking at the distance between the pellet impacts on this bus, the shot was probably taken from about 60 meters away, whereby the vehicle metal was not penetrated. An AK round fired at that same distance would leave a gaping ragged hole in the vehicle, and probably energy at the opposite side of the bus after killing any person impacted within. This is the distinction between a rifle, and a shotgun.
i wonder o

I'm learning from the physics experts in the house, cos I had also wonder how come the pellets didnt penetrate. After all Angela Okorie is still carrying pellets that penetrated her skull from her gun attack of two years ago.

In the past people fear military officers but today reverse is the case. They are being kidnapped, killed and maimed like goats.

This is a buck shot from a shotgun. Less range too giving a lower velocity and force.

If it were a slug shot from the same shotgun, we'll be saying something different oh.

Thank goodness it wasn't 7.62 rounds. We'll be talking different stories here.

You ain't lyin' brother. A slug is the same diameter as a 50 caliber sniper round and will wreak the same carnage out to 100 yards.
