The people of Ikuru town in Andoni LGA of Rivers State today had the opportunity to see Elephant once again as it strolled from the forest reserve into the community.
This is supposed to be a major tourist destination if fully harnessed by appropriate authority in Rivers State.

Andoni land has been blessed with abundant natural and human resources.
Remember that this is the same LGA that the fisherman caught a sword fish and ate it out of ignorance.
The LGA has the largest fishing Port in West Africa and abundant oil and gas reserve, while some of the oil fields are been explore by Green energy LTD,Amni and host of others.

This LGA is one of the most neglected Local governments in Nigeria, they only road leading to the LGA has been ongoing since the days of Governor Peter Odili and has been used as campaign promise by successive administrations in Rivers State.

We believe that our prayers will be heard and answered one day.
