Why is it that Nigeria isn't properly represented in the Olympics? No Weight lifter, no Sprinter, no shotput thrower and all. Is it that we don't have guys that major in these sports or what? I remember This guy from Umuahia Abia state Me Eke Kalu (AKA Scorpion) that won gold in National Sports Festival, Benin City, Edo state. Why wasn't he pushed to the Olympics to harness and showcase his full potential?

Olympics participation is not handed out to all comers.. You don't PUSH people to the Olympics.. To appear in the Olympics you have to qualify,through regional Tournaments.. |

You have to sponsor athletes so they can do well in regionals and subsequently qualify. How much money is there to raise a team of 200+ athletes? What facilities do we have to train them? This shithole will soon breakup so you don't have to worry about this issue. |

qualification process bro. all athletes in each sports in Olympics have qualification process just like we not involved in men or women football bcoz we didnt qualify |
