NIPOST should never ever set out to make a profit. It is a Service .... to benefit the people. It should be able to fund itself... but never to make a profit. Whatever surplus needs to go back to the FG... back to the people. Do this with NIPOST ... others will follow ... the Fire Service would be next .... government services will be next ... Public Hospitals and clinics .... library... etc. NIPOST is to deliver to every one within the country .... regardless of cost. When rebundled... do you really believe it will?... or you can manage the cost? The same way people were shouting to privatise the electricity plants ... now they are crying because of price. NIPOST need to adapt and continue serving the people. Yes the internet has greatly reduced the need for letters ... but it has opened up parcel delivery. USPS has shifted the emphasis from letters to parcel delivery..... when people order via Amazon etc.... who will deliver? NIPOST needs to follow and not get into banking and other stuff that is ripe for corruption. Maybe this is the aim of this rebundling.

This is one of the initiative Nigeria got when a northerner heads institution, instead of forward they rush backward.

This man must accept that creation of new technology kills a lot of job section in a country as Nigeria that never move forward because of vision less admin and there's nothing to do about it.

Why can't NIPOST them self wake up from dreaming and upgrade to a logistic service, imposing them self to private sectors may still be a dead move because than stamp cannot come and kill a business that take one years to establish.

The ideas are lofty and laudable as usual in nigeria,micro finance bank is commendable so that all federal civil servants will be paid by the bank to curb corruptions.The most promising part will be to provide data platforms for internet users in the country as nigerians are being shortchanged by internet service providers.Revamp nitel for service deliveries.Don't forget Nigeria is a consumerist society
