malcom1X: 99% of covid patients at the hospital are unvaccinated people. People are being delayed for surgeries and other procedures because hospitals are overwhelmed with covid patients. https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2021/08/16/joel-valdez-houston-covid-hospitals/ 1 Like 1 Share |

socialmediaman: This is not true, reports reveal that those who have been vaccinated twice still contact Covid. Secondly let's relate it to Nigeria. Have you ever gone under the bridge in Lagos where those northerners stay? |

Modrov: Truth is he was censored. With so much at stake, why are we fed only one narrative. Shouldn’t many perspectives be heard and professionally debated? If masks work, no problem If social distancing is effective, no problem But, if there is evidence they don’t, I want to hear that evidence, too. If highly credentialed scientists have different opinions, I want to know what they think. I want a chance to hear their arguments and make up my own mind. Is censorship not the technique of dictators, tyrants and greedy, power-hungry people? Is it not a sign that those who are doing the censoring know it’s the only way they can win? I know how many times I've been banned on nairaland because I was posting anti Covid comments why? 3 Likes |

Modrov: Just a question at bolded. Since this is a new disease and we are still learning new things about it, why the coercion or outright forcing people to take vaccine for a disease we are still learning about? 2 Likes |

codedcliq: Because, as I indicated in myncommebts above the vaccine appears to.work Even if someone that is vaccinated comes die with disease, they come down with milder versions of the disease Also, without vaccinations and other public helath measures the number of people who fall seriously ill would strain the health care sector |

Modrov: I have taken the new tech mRNA vaccine, moderna vaccine this week's Tuesday, that is 3days ago.I have to be the stupidest to listen to religous fanatics speaking expertly about topics they know nothing about. I know WHO is on humanity's side, infact the symptoms of the vaccine jab have been so mild am even shocked.Come September ending I'll go for the second jab.I can't come I die for nothing,I know this thing will still be with us for the next 10-20years in this country because of the people's reluctance to get vaccinated the virus will still be spreading happily. |

malcom1X: How so? The people who have access to the data have spoken. Are you disputing them? https://www.webmd.com/vaccines/covid-19-vaccine/news/20210513/over-_99-percent-hospitalized-2021-covid-patients-unvaccinated https://www.cnn.com/2021/07/31/health/fully-vaccinated-people-breakthrough-hospitalization-death/index.html https://nj.com/coronavirus/2021/07/more-than-99-of-people-hospitalized-with-covid-in-nj-have-been-unvaccinated-murphy-says.html https://www.cnet.com/health/99-of-covid-deaths-are-now-of-unvaccinated-people-experts-say/ https://medicalpartnership.usg.edu/covid-19-staggering-statistic-98-to-99-of-americans-dying-are-unvaccinated/ We can't achieve herd immunity without most people vaccinated. The virus will continue to mutate and may pose more danger in the future. Please tell me more about under the bridge, are you using them to sense when there is an outbreak? 1 Like |

Modrov: Thank you for your response. Quoting you, the vaccines "appear to work" not that you're certain it works. Even WHO is not certain. https://nairametrics.com/2021/08/21/who-issues-call-for-experts-to-help-with-covid-origins-probe/ https://www.thesun.co.uk/health/15944033/new-virus-variant-covid22-more-deadly-delta/amp/?utm_medium=Social&utm_campaign=sunmaintwitter&utm_source=Twitter https://www.insider.com/pfizer-ceo-vaccine-resistant-coronavius-variant-likely-2021-8?amp&__twitter_impression=true If that's the case, don't you feel it's more appropriate if those that want to take the vaccine let them feel free to take it and those who have doubts, let them be with their choices... https://unherd.com/thepost/bombshell-study-finds-natural-immunity-superior-to-vaccination/?s=08 https://twitter.com/EdmundKudzayi/status/1430366350241845251?s=20 1 Like |

codedcliq: (Sorry, i had to cut off most of your links. For some reason the bot here bans me if I post a comment with multiple links. ) Well, the vaccine does work. 1.People who are vaccinated are less likely to fall sick 2.People who do fall sick have less severe illness. Vaccination (compared with no vaccination) was associated with reduced odds of hospitalisation or having more than five symptoms in the first week of illness following the first or second dose, and long-duration (≥28 days) symptoms following the second dose. Almost all symptoms were reported less frequently in infected vaccinated individuals than in infected unvaccinated individuals, and vaccinated participants were more likely to be completely asymptomatic, especially if they were 60 years or older SAUCE 3.Crucially, vaccinated people have lower viral loads of delta variant vs unvaccinated. One massive analysis of Delta transmission comes from the UK REACT-1 programme, led by a team at Imperial College London, which tests more than 100,000 UK volunteers every few weeks. The team ran Ct analyses for samples received in May, June and July, when Delta was rapidly replacing other variants to become the dominant driver of COVID-19 in the country. The results suggested that among people testing positive, those who had been vaccinated had a lower viral load on average than did unvaccinated people. Paul Elliott, an epidemiologist at Imperial, says that these results differ from other Ct studies because this study sampled the population at random and included people who tested positive without showing symptoms. Re: COVID-19 Update For September 2 2021 In Nigeria by malcom1X: 2:08pm On Sep 04, 2021 |
socialmediaman: At the bolded, why are we taking an old vaccine for a new variant? Answer this. Secondly the virus mutates every 10 hours, how are we going to create new Vaccines for it. Putting CNN in your links just killed the whole thing for me, I don't listen or watch main stream media. Sorry. I don't believe them 3 Likes |
