what did they ask or what was done in the A.C. i have never been to one and i am so curiuos on what it is about.

Assesment Center involves a real life simulation of work environment. Its not like one-on-one interview. For an AC the candidates may be involved in group disscussion and or individual presentations like BAT. As a group u are given a case study e.g a new product to be pushed into the market or an old market that needs re-invention. You will be assesed based on group contributions and ur individual presentation.

The group discusses issues that may arise from production to sales of this product. You may also be required to make individual presention to an HR team on how u aim to drive the sales while mitigating negative factors that may arise, after wichu ans some questions possed to u.

There are breaks between session. U may be assesed during lunch or tea break without knowing it.

Its fun but there's an under-current of competion so just be urself at ur best. Finito!!!

Only u forgot to add that the rivalry,"notice me and show Ur self",exhibited by the candidates is appalling. Like Dunddy said,"let the man that needs the job have it".

I got a mail this morning saying I was successful at assessment center and that medical and driving test is next. Anyone else?

Also got a mail this morning, went something like this
Dear ,
We are pleased to inform you of your successful performance at the recently
concluded assessment centre.

The next stage of the recruitment process would be a driving test and a
medical evaluation. An offer for employment would be made subject to your
successful completion of these last two stage,
