My younger who is age 20 has been battling with a sickness for over a year now.
His body is swelling up.
Eyes, neck, legs and stomach. They all appear puffed.
We have done all kinds of test and treatment, nobody has been able to diagnose the nature of the sickness.
There is no pain whatsoever, just swellings especially after a nap.
Also he sleeps more than usual.
There was a period it went down for like 3 months.
But now we are back to it again.
He is having difficulty in breathing because of the throat swellings
I will be attaching some of the drugs he is using.
And will be available to answer questions.

They need to do a kidney test for him and a scan of his kidneys! Also he should do an x-ray!
Most importantly take him to teaching hospital where there will be specialist on ground to attend to him! This looks like a problem with his kidneys

I've seen this before. This is all a sign of kidney failure but don't take my word for it cuz I'm not a doctor. Go to a very good hospital with good equipments and get a scan done. Do a full body and blood analysis too.
Note that if it's kidney disease, you need to act fast.

Kidney (Renal) function tests. Me thinks the young man has a cardiovascular disease.
Any familial history of High blood pressure or kidney disease?
What is his blood pressure like?
Congestive Heart failure, kidney disease, or decreased oncotic pressure of the blood can cause oedema of this nature. I suggest u guys get him to see a cardiologist and fast too. Best wishes

My advice from the experiences I had .. stop eaten salt. Your food.. soup should be prepared separately without no salt.. if you can do this for 3 months you'll testify... and your brother will be normal trust God and the process.

He is actually right you know.. swelling of eyes, arms and legs results from loss of kidney function.

I took a physicians course on Kidney disease and there I got to know kidney disease has stages from stage 1 through 4 or 5 thereabout when it becomes Kidney failure. Foamy urine and protein in the urine are early symptoms of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and early treatment most times slows the progression and in some cases dialysis and kidney transplant is required.
I know a guy who suffered these exact symptoms described by the poster but sadly didn't make it. Guess he couldn't keep up with the treatment but it's quite sad.

Please change his environment for a month. Avoid massage or anyone touching him (I mean outsiders).

Watch his diet.

Visit a doctor while there once in a while.

Nephrotic syndrome or Chronic kidney disease. We also would have rule out allergies and heart failure. He needs to do a renal function test and urinalysis. He needs a good cardiovascular history(from the drugs posted he seems to be a known hypertensive), as well as liver function tests. Your brother needs to see a nephrologist and a cardiologist and soon as possible

Hope this is not kidney disease, he needs dialysis as soon as possible. Just take him to the nearest hospital for proper treatment.

This disease is not for the poor.what a pity..I dont know how I managed to overcome alcohol. Back then a single day without alcohol was a wasted day but now I can do 4 months challenge conveniently thank u jesus

Go to reputable lab and let them run test on creatinine level, & electrolytes then beg the lab attendants to please interpret the result for you

Also, let him do abdominal scan n check shape, & current size of his kidney.

If there's any issue related to kidney, let him remove meat from his meal, no alcohol, lots of water, reduce intake of foods especially heavy food to lessen pressure on kidney.

Kidney disease is not something that could be treated with drugs except if it's just UTI

Kidney disease is not something to joke about because it's very serious infact my prayer is that it will not be ckd because the only solution to it is transplant when it gets to ESRD

yep! One of my ex girlfriend is alergic to nuts every time she touched anything with nuts she swells up, red skin, itchyness and diffculty breathing. She nearly died one day i made food with nuts, i didn't know she is alergic to nuts immideately she ate a spoonful of my cooking she began swelling up. My golly!! It was a horrible day.

Might be alergy like you said, Africans are not aware of alergies
