Addiction to gambling is as a result of using gambling as a means of making money. So my best advice to you is that you remove your mind from it as a means of you getting money. Try and get a job and hope and believe in it as your only means of getting money and being rich

Things you must do after that.
1. Don't ever go to where they gamble again
2. Don't even go there to charge phone or to gist.
3. Always be prayerful and God will help you as he did mine.

Gambling addiction to me is not as serious as porn or masturbation. To stop gambling addiction, you need to understand a couple of things:
1.) Stop living in lala land - understand that the odds of you winning 100 million naira from a bet of 100 naira is extremely low.
2.) Understand that the more events you stack, the lower your chances of winning - many great bets are cut by just one event.
3.) The guys who have made hundreds of millions of dollars from betting are guys who develop mathematical models and computer systems to implement these models. These guys work on this full- time. Do you have the skill or patience to do it? Here's a list of people who have cracked the betting code: https://www.tradematesports.com/blog/10-people-rich-sports-betting
4.) You cannot make a living betting if you don't have an edge over the market. Having an edge means that you can consistently make money in the market with your current win percentage.
If you normally place bets of 2 odds, to have an edge over the market, you need a win ratio of 70 percent or more. Let's say u place 100 naira each on ten events, you have staked 1000 naira. If 7 events of 2 odds enter , you have made (200*7) =1,400 naira. If you lose the remaining 3 events, you'd lose 300 naira. Your final balance would be (1,400 -300)= 1,100 naira .
This means with a 70 percent win ratio and 2 odds, you only made 10 percent profit on your stake of 1000 naira. Ask yourself if such accuracy is sustainable and whether it is scalable. If your answer is No, do yourself a favour and quit.

My best advice is to do something tht will keep you busy on the internet, I would advise you switch to crypto currency, that was exactly what changed my life for the best, now am living my dream after I left betting, might not work for you though but the old habit of always surfing the net will always bring you back to betting site and LiveScore, if you do not channel that surfing energy into a more productive activity then you will still go back to betting it may be a month or two, even people around you can also be of influence to your going back, only if you channel that betting energy that's when your mind will be free from gambling, so my suggestion to you is do crypto, you won't even need to invest a dime other than your time and if you smart you can make your first million very quickly.

Jeez bro you cracked my ribs. The bastard took about 6 irreplaceable years from me. Still beating myself for the wasted time. But fortunately, I pulled through after hitting rock bottom by honestly asking God to help me & then gradually replaced it with another responsible and rewarding replacement. Now I have been able to pull two other friends out. This is why I have zero respect for the likes of Akin Alabi whom made wealth off other people's unhealthy addictions.
