My glo modem is not working on window 7 only on xp.can somebody help pls?

Thanks.I have been using the glo modem on xp before.after upgrading my system to windows 7,I was unable launch any with thesame modem.I tested it on other pc's,it worked well on xp bt not on windows 7.I think the network security on window 7 is blocking it.can someone tell me what to do pls?

Having said that,go to your windows security center and disable your windows fire wall.Try this and lets see how it goes.

the story is thesame bro.it works on xp but not on windows 7.ve tried it on some laptops using window 7,its thesame problem.disabled firewall bt no change.

strange i must say.
my aunty has a windows 7 hp laptop and i recently bought a glo modem for her,it worked immediately i installed it for her. i think your browser has some issues.
try these suggestion and let me know how far:
1. try using another modem like mtn fastlink and see if it works. if it does, then it boils to the compactibility of  your new operatin system on the  laptop and modem.
2.  try and download internet explorer 6 from the internet usin a flash or whatever,install it on your system and lets see how it goes.
  I hope u dont use all those browsin softwares like opera mini,mozilla fire fox etc,cuz the mess up sometimes. dont download internet explorer 9 yet,cuz its sometimes not compactable with some modems,thats why i recomended internet explorer 6.

you cant really blame the guy for his complain, cos window 7 use to fumble like that, I have a plug and play bluetooth device that is working perfectly on XP, but on W7, its another case entirely. It was telling me to install with a driver, why is it that?

Google for huwei usb modem driver for window 7. Download and install. Hope it would work fine.
