What the mother did was beating, but what the teacher did to her child was discipline? Lol

The teacher and the child were either beaten or disciplined.

This woman is a serious disgrace to the yoruba culture. In my own opinion, she should be flogged and made to tender a public apology to the school and teacher .

Parents now adays give teachers tough time in discharging their duties as characters shapers. They make teachers feel like they are no body not knowing that teachers are needed for your child to succeed directly or indirectly. I could remember a parent that came to the school I teach to shout on class teacher because she told the daughter to remove the attachment on her hair when coming to sch the next day. Despite the fact that they know that attachment is not allowed,the woman came to blast the teacher.

Uselessness of parenting

This trend is now getting popular since nobody is doing anything about it. Teachers apart from being poorly paid are now vulnerable to attacks by irate parents for discipling their children. Any parent caught attacking teachers deserve to be arrested and their unruly kids thrown into juvenile detention facilities
