Update from SIGGY .ng

A photo released on the internet by Siggy shows a massive failure in the faculty of basic medical sciences, College of Medicine, University of Nigeria (UNN).

Apparently, only 67 out of 317 students passed... What could be responsible for this?

Are the lecturers truly lecturers This is sign of failed lecturers who didn't do their job very well.

This is coup agaist the students. This is exposure that something is seriously wrong with the lecturers. The management should get those exam script from the lecturers and invite external examiners to make those script again, and if the outcome is the same, the course should be reassign to another lecturer.

Anything to trim the number of students who are going to eventually graduate with MBBS.

The serial number shows that more than 300 students are presently in that class and I'm damn sure their accreditation is around 150.

I doubt there is any chance for resit. They will see themselves in Botany, Zoology and Anatomy departments. Sorry for them.

It’s more of an accreditation problem. Medical schools usually admit more than their quota so not everyone will cross. The schools MBBS quota could be just 100 but in 100lv they may admit 400 students into MBBS.

This is exactly what "TOO MUCH OF SOCIAL MEDIA" does to an emerging society.

Please, this is not MEDICAL students examination results. This is that of PHYSIOTHERAPY students.
Everyone in the College of Health Sciences of Nigeria seems to be studying Medicine & Surgery. It's baffling & still troubling!
