Basenet Digital LTD is a digital marketing company operating in the demand generation space.

We are now seeking a talented and skilled video editor to refine our raw videos for social media and Vimeo.

We are new to this, so we are looking for someone who can set up this video content creation side of our business.

On a daily, you will oversee videography, video editing, and many things in-between. You need to know your way around a camera and can comfortably edit videos in one of the professional editing suites such as Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, or Final Cut.

This is a full-time role and the candidate will for the first two to three months be required to work from the office. Once systems are in place, we will gradually ease into a remote arrangement, with the company bearing responsibility for the setup of your WFH office space, however, this is dependent upon achievable internet speeds in the candidate's location.

Requirements:
- Follow instructions and meet deadlines
- Great at manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques. Also capable of inserting dialogue, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects
- Excellent audio and video syncing
- Fast learner, ambitious, and creative problem solver
- Willing to research topics and find images/videos
- Search for content (usually from available marketing content, other YouTube channels, or stock video sites)
