Nigerian motivational speaker and human rights activist, Reno Omokri revealed why courses like sociology or linguistics have no relevance to Nigeria's present challenges.



The outspoken activist who took to his verified Twitter page some minutes ago that there were courses that have no relevance to Nigeria's present problems. However, he said courses like sociology or linguistics do not contribute to the challenges facing the country. He said all these courses were meant for rich people and those that live comfortably.



Finally, he said courses like Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths were the ones that Nigeria needs to develop.



According to the tweet, Reno posted on social media, he wrote:

"What is the relevance of say sociology, or linguistics to Nigeria’s present challenges? Many of these courses are ‘belle-full’ courses, meant for people who have conquered poverty and live in luxury. Nigeria needs Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths to develop!"

I strongly disagree with him over this...

Science and technology will not organise your society for you

in a battle field not all are meant to fight, some must be armour bearer. the troop need both to win any battle.

to build a house not all are to arrange blocks on blocks others must design its supposed structure, others will mix cement, others will bring block for the arrangers(masons) others will roof it others will paint it others will wire it. without any of which the house will not be welly build

in leadership when some are led others must lead

in election when some are voting others are voted for.

Imagine An Election Where EveryBody Voted With No One Been Voted For, Or Where Everybody Were Voted For Without Any Body Voting.
