Drug test has been mandatory in the Army for many years and so many soldiers have been dismissed or demoted if found positive. I know so many soldiers in my former unit that were courtmartial for drinking while on uniform. A lot of people think Army is a rubbish organisation but there is a lot of discipline going on.

This is a laughable plan at best - go ahead and create a business for those Nigerians that shall be responsible for handling the testing. You can bet the Uni's also shall eventually cash in and make students pay fees for these sham tests if the idea sees the light of day, much like the farce that post-UTME exams became.

Ever since this man was made NDLEA chief, he's been functioning on overdrive and doesn't seem to tire or think before making pronouncements; else the sham and scam that COVID tests and vaccine certificates have become should have taught him a thing or two, but the man just carry military mentality for head.

I support that it should start with the younger generation, where you can still intervene and enforce compliance. How do you stop someone like Fani Kayode from taking his drugs? But with the youth, you can still stop them before it's too late. Besides, the older generation have lived their lives already - nothing you can do to them at this stage.
