Russia is not threating the US. The US is thousands of kilometers away from eastern & yet it is causing uneccsary escalation in Europe. Whether US like it or not Ukraine will never join NATO. No country, no matter how powerful will dictate to Russia in its region.

True, Russia is Syria no1 ally even during the time of Arab-Israeli wars....during Yom Kippur, Russia/Ussr and Nato/US almost had a direct confrontation when Israeli forces where too close (to Cairo and Damascus) for comfort.
