USA, UK, Israel are not natural ally, all are friends because of what they stand to gain from one another.... they watch over one another and ready to go to war for one another...America as a war leader need the support of other nations to remain there.... UK and Israel are small country and can be threatening by any bigger country like Russia and China and other Arab countries are looking for all means to destroy Israel.. but with America they cannot! And America if going to war will surely go with Israel and Britain and France... if not for America, Israel would have been captured long time ago by the Arab because they are surrounded by Arab....

Ur point is correct. But Arabs wouldn't have been able to capture isreal because they(arabs) always had weak militaries. In short, everytime the arabs fought isreal, they did so with full support in equipments and training from the USSR. Meanwhile, the isrealis had veterans from ww1 and ww2 and was aligned with Turkey and Iran at the time.

1.In 1917, the UK took Palestine from the Ottomans. As part of the Sykes-Picot agreement dividing the ottoman empire, the UK got Palestine.

2.In 1920, a high ranking UK official suggested that Palestine ...part of it...should form a homeland for the Jews.

3.Before and during WW2, the Jewish population of Palestine were useful allies for the British

4.Once the state of Israel was created, the state quickly became allied with the UK.


USA...

Before 1967, USA was kind of neutral towards Israel. Not too favourable, among other things.

Then came the 1967 WAR, and shortly after events pushed the US into supporting Israel (the USSR, the US's enemy supported the Arabs...so the US backed Israel).

It reached it's peak in 1973, when both the US and USSR were basically backing oppisite sides.

Since then US has been backing Israel.


FINALLY

The events of WW2 and the holocaust played its role. American troops liberated camps where Jews and other peoples were starved or exterminated to death. That kind of sounded the death knell for most anti-semitisim in the US and increased sympathy for Zionism..and an end to other racisims too.

They are mutual friends. They have something to offer for another benefit. Well, USA is natural extention of Britain. British empire reestablished modern day of Israel.
Also, Jews contributed to success of allied forces during ww2.
After ww2, Jewish merchants played significant roles in developing what is now known as economy of the west.

Most people don’t even know that it’s was USSR that first recognised Israeli as a country because of her large population of USSR citizens.
