7 REASONS YOU SHOULDN’T ENGAGE IN PRE-MARITAL SEX!!!
In the world we live in, pre-marital sex, which is sex before marriage is being promoted by the media. It is a norm that has come to stay with us; sadly, it is against God’s original design for us:
Sex is a beautiful thing, there’s nothing dirty about it.
But God created it for a particular time-ONLY IN AND WITHIN MARRIAGE.
Other forms of sexual gratification like lesbianism, homosexuality, masturbation, pornography are unacceptable! God demands that we wait until marriage.

Here are 7 reasons you shouldn’t engage in pre-marital sex as a teenager:

It is against God’s will and commands, hence a clear disobedience. God designed sex only for marriage. Disobedience always attracts punishment.

Premarital sex leads to shame and confusion.
At this point in your life, you may have a crush and feel he/she really loves you, but they may be all about sex! After sex, they dump you and you feel ashamed.
Sometimes they tell their friends about what you both shared, and that could really affect you.

It brings low self esteem
You lose your confidence when you show your unclothedness to the one who wasn’t meant to see it. You become ashamed and afraid.
“What if they tell others about the size of my body parts?” You see? It can bring insecurity.
It exposes you to sexually transmitted diseases including the incurable ones. Rev2:22
Now imagine being HIV positive (through sexual contact) or having the incurable Herpes as a teenager. Trust me; it’s not going to be easy. STDs can limit your life chances and plunge you into depression.
N/B Condoms do not offer 100% protection.
It leads to teenage pregnancies and teenage parenthood. Being a teen father or mother can bring stagnation in achieving your life’s goals because you are not yet ready to become a parent.
It makes you a killer!
Most teenagers would rather abort a pregnancy than keep it. Sometimes, they take dangerous chemicals which can damage their wombs and limit their chances of fertility in the future.
Abortion of an unplanned pregnancy is killing an unborn child.
So it’s better not to have sex in the first place as it can lead to pregnancy.
Engaging in premarital sex makes you a candidate of hell. If you fail to repent, and you die somehow…you won’t make heaven.

Finally my little friends, I know suppressing the sex drive or urge isn’t easy. But you must learn to be self controlled, and it is only God that would help you achieve this.

Please say this prayer and believe that the Holy Spirit can help you.
Dear Lord Jesus, please have mercy on me and deliver me from the spirit of sexual immorality. Please give me the grace to continue standing in you, and fill me with the fruit of self control. Amen.
