What Can Be Done To Make Police Sit Up In This Country? by BigBashiru: 5:10pm On Mar 13, 2022
This post is inspired by the Bamise BRT incident. Even if the police were called, the police man would probably be asleep or off duty or went to buy bread...no amount of salary will cause them to stop this lackadaisical attitude and lack of commitment to duty.... so what can be done about the police and emergency services? This is the last remaining gap between nigeria and abroad to make nigeria = abroad....there is no seriousness across the board and people do not take their jobs seriously resulting in poor institutions.

1. Remove them from current pension setup

2. Get an IG who is like Buba Marwa

3. Reform the police

4. Improve the pay

5. No police station should be an eye sore but decent like every other decent office
