Please, can a television be connected in a Tv card of a computer system. I am having series of problems with my monitor and i am tired of buying monitors. Each monitor I buy, it stops displaying on the screen and the power light will still be on. can I get a TV card and connect my Television to serve as monitor.

CAN IT WORK?

Sure you can. But the card has got to support this feature firstly, and must have an RF or AV output port.
I have used it on a laptop, but via the s-terminal connector port on it.

RF on TV cards are mainly "IN" ports.
so you should be looking for a card with "AV Out". it's there in the market.

alternatively, you could get a TV with a VGA port.
i know some TVs have it; my flatscreen does cool .

simple just get an agp card with s video its not that expensive, and i just hope that your pc isn't the one killing your monitors
