My HP Elitebook 6930p is not showing any thing on the screen if I on it. But the fan is blowing, nothing is show on the LED. If I on it, the power will come on and go off after some seconds and come on again. The fan will be blowing but nothing shows on the screen. I have done all the troubleshooting I could, but nothing show. I remove the RAM and HDD and put them back. I have try to reset by hold the power botton for 60sec after removing battery and power adapter. All yield no result. I also connect it to external monitor to check if it is display fault but nothing showed. What will I do? The pic is attached

I had exactly the same problem recently. That is, my own HP Windows Vista was behaving exactly as you described. Eventually, the technician discovered that it was a board problem. I wouldn't know how old your laptop is, but I've been using mine for over 5 years without any issue until this problem started, so I assume that 'old age' could have contributed to the problem. Please check your lap top's board.

Guys, it seems like this issue is very common with hp laptops.

am actually thinking its a VGA fault. but i havent really tried the troubleshooting procedures the op said he has done. please how do i remove my hdd??

my laptop is 8years old. do u think it might be old age??
