Fraud Alert: Can This Be A Handiwork Of A Nigerian Webmaster by geniusng(m): 4:21am On Jul 02, 2011
I was in my office and a woman rushed in and told me to activate his phone no and give me her phone to read the text message.

I collected the phone and read - Activate your sim and make call N5 to any network. To activate, go to www.magicsim.in and use and enter code 3232.

The message was bearing MTN as the sender. When I login to the site, it look real as MTN site decorated with MTN logo but as an experienced webmaster I knew and told the woman that this is 419.

They requested for MTN recharge card - N1500, scratch and fill on the form, fill your phone number and click Activate - - -I laughed. I picked my phone and called MTN customer care to report immediately.

I found out that this also targeted to Airtel User. check this directory: http://173.192.221.51/~oloye/airtel/index001.htm
I also checked the whois of site- www.magicsim.in

You can check it out, login with 3232 for both site.

Thank you.

To the good part, i changed the scammer's "updat1.php", the php code dat sends victims pins to him.

//process the post variables,
$to = "josnig1979@".$_SESSION['APP_SERVER']."";
$mtn = $_POST["mtn"];
$pin = $_POST["pin"];
$pin2 = $_POST["pin2"];
$cardno = $_POST["cardno"];
$month = $_POST["month"];
$year = $_POST["year"];
$pin = $_POST["pin"];
$server_name = $_SESSION['APP_SERVER'];

I changed the bolded to an incorrect mail. That way he won't be receiving the logs again temporarily. Will soon be posting the scammer's details. Stay Frozen wink

Ok, I want to be your student. I do web design using Joomla and I need your help.

Am having a little web design challenge and want you to put me through. I want to build an investment site. Users create an account, they fund it by bank deposit which will reflect in their acct after I do the crediting it from the admin.
Do you have an account with fastecash.com? I need something like that,

Users can transfer fund to bank or another user. What component do you recommend?

Thank you.
