The mobile Police and body guards attached to Paddy Adenuga the son of business mogul Mike Adenuga, seems to derive pleasure in harassing innocent citizen.

His security guards struck again on Sunday June 12 at Get Arena, venue of Jimmy Jatt's Jimmy's Jump Off event. They beat up the security guard at the gate because he blocked the entrance of the venue and 'dared' to ask Paddy and his friends for their invites to the show.

Well said , Most rich guys in Nigeria have police escort, though most of them are Spy police. Adenuga will be mobbed by area boys if he dare walk alone on lagos streets, although i do not support the policemen beating up anybody .

In no other country would you find a shameless abuse of public unstitutions like you have in this banana republic called Nigeria. My problem isn't with his bodyguards; paddy or any other billionaire/rich kid can hire a thousand PRIVATE bodyguards if he so wishes. But HELL NO he shouldn't be guarded by police men or other government-employed security forces! Folks like Bill Gates, Roman Abramovich and other international gazillionaires and their children are guarded by private bodyguards that are often EX secret service, SAS, Navy SEAL personnel. They're never guarded by serving policemen or serving security officials employed by the government. That's not done.

As tough and as bitter as this message might sound, I agree with you.

If they do not have armed protection, they will be dead under a month. They provide a lot of employment for people and if they are not guaranteed security they will take the money elsewhere.

Except the government either improves security or allows armed private security, these people would need police protection.

But if their police detail assault ordinary citizens, then there should be a process where they can be sued till they have no pants.

Having a truckload of policemen following you is not a big deal or the beef but it is allowing your personal security beat up harmless people.
