Xiaomi has silently launched a new budget Redmi handset –
the Redmi 10A in the Chinese market. Similar to its
predecessor, the latest Redmi 10A is also powered by an
entry-level MediaTek Helio G25 SoC. However, this time
around, the brand has included a fingerprint scanner on its
most affordable handset.


Other specifications include a large display, a 5000mAh
battery, and a 13MP camera. Let us take a closer look at

Redmi 10A Price

The Redmi 10A comes in three configurations – 4GB +
64GB, 4GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 128GB. The base variant
of the device is priced at RMB 649 (approx Rs 7,740).
Whereas, the 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB variant of the
Redmi 10A are priced at RMB 799 (approx Rs 9,500) and
RMB 899 (approx Rs 10,720) respectively.


Redmi 10A Specifications and Features

The Redmi 10A flaunts a 6.53-inch HD+ LCD display with a
1600 × 720 pixel resolution, 400nits brightness, and 20:9
aspect ratio. The display panel houses the front selfie
shooter inside a waterdrop notch.


Powering the Redmi 10A is an octa-core MediaTek Helio
G25 processor, coupled with PowerVR8320 GPU. The
handset boots MIUI 12.5, based on Android 11.


The Redmi 10A offers a 13MP rear camera and an LED
flash. Though the camera island on the Redmi 10A looks
identical to the Redmi 10C and Redmi 10, it has only one
rear camera. For selfies and video calls, it relies on a 5MP
front shooter.


The Redmi 10A is equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit
and supports 10W charging. It has a micro-USB port for
charging and data transfers. The handset also offers a
dedicated micro-SD card slot, a rear-mounted fingerprint
scanner, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Redmi 10A comes in three colour options – Black, Blue,
and Silver. It weighs 194grams and measures 164.9 × 77 ×
9.0mm. In terms of connectivity, it offers Dual-SIM, 4G, WiFi
(2.4GHz only), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, AGPS, and Beidou.
