Is it a sin for a man of God to be carrying armed escorts around , i saw some of our men of God carrying police ,mopol and even army to their whereabout , i don't want to call name but is it a sin .

It is wrong but not a sin. Intimidating people with those armed security men is a sin. To me it is very wrong for them to be parading themselves with security men. If they want to hold crusade or any other church activities that requires police protection of the masses due to security challenges in country, they can apply for that. Going about with personal security is a show of arrogance. Also it mean that they do not have faith that GOD will protect them in time of trouble. How many security men did JESUS hired even when he was in danger? What about the apostles? MATTHEW 10:39. Whoever find their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it. This answers your question.

it depends on the motive. Some senior men of God have People who volunteer to run protocol department for them.

If a pastor feel endangered he may employ the use of security if not , there no need . If a man of God does. it for efizzy then it's carnal . But on general note security is common sense. Jesus took security measures when he felt threatened Paul did likewise

JESUS could have simply command money, used it to pay soldiers that will escort him Judea. Or did you think that their were no soldiers then? Or did you think that Jesus can not command money and it come out?
